Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing the Fox Valley. Through Habitat, people from various religious and financial backgrounds work together in equal partnership, building affordable housing, new relationships and a sense of community.
Our History
Founded in 1989, Fox Valley Habitat was chartered in 1990 as an autonomous affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. The local movement is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for its fund-raising, publicity and volunteer recruitment. From a dream in the hearts of a dozen people concerned about poverty housing in the Fox Valley, it has grown to over 1,000 individuals and organizations.
Since its inception Fox Valley Habitat has built 34 homes for our partnering families.
